The Festival Theatre tradition dates back more than 50 years when performances were given in a tent. The theatre is now housed in the splendidly contemporary structure pictured here where Pitlochry visitors are invited to "stay 6 days and see 6 plays" in a rolling repertory from May to October. It's also an excellent place to view Pitlochry, its surroundings and the background of wooded hills while enjoying afternoon tea.
