Glamis Castle near Birchwood Hotel, Pitlochry

The lovely surrounding grounds perfectly enhance the fairy tale image of Glamis Castle. The castle was the childhood home of the Queen Mother and the birthplace of Princess Margaret. A pleasant hour's drive from Birchwood through rolling Perthshire farmland, information on events and opening times can be found here.
