After parting with a little water for the distillery of the same name to convert into its unique single-malt whisky, the Edradour burn displays a taste for drama, plunging over the Black Spout falls before joining the River Tummel. There's a delightful walk to the distillery which includes the falls only a few minutes from the Birchwood.
This year's dry summer has meant somewhat less water than usual in the falls - but most of us will settle for that!
