The Moness Falls at the highest point in the nature trail in the Birks of' Aberfeldy - birk is old Scots for the birch trees which abound in this part of the trail. The Moness Burn falls 500 ft (150m) in a distance of 3/4 mile (1km). After heavy rain the side walls of the burn's gorge spring a multitude side falls - living geology.
